Plug & Mould Making

CML has a team of competent boat builders who have many years experience in constructing accurate plugs (patterns) and moulds. Using their CNC machine, which has an accuracy of approximately 0.02mm, Composite Mouldings can either build plugs for permanent moulds/tooling or create direct tooling which depending on the shape of part can yield between around 3 – 15+ pulls, a cost effective solution for low production runs. The permanent tooling system will be determined by the project requirement but all the latest resin/matrix systems are available.
