CML will build the Deck, Bimini and Sole Floors for the second Oyster 118, a 37m luxury cruising yacht.
CML are pleased to be working with Oyster on this project again. The main construction method is a mixture of hand lay and resin infusion with extensive amounts of Carbon Fibre. The build of the 118 will be split over two sites and CML will utilise all of its in house capabilities from infusing sole floors on their infusion table to machining parts on their 3.5 axis CNC machine. All work will be built under the supervision of DNV-GL.
Oyster Yachts has built luxury blue water cruising yachts for 45 years. The Oyster 125 is the largest vessel built to date by the company and the Oyster 118 is the largest yacht to be built in the UK and is the new flagship model for the company.
