Composite Manufacturing and Design Ltd (CML or Composite Mouldings) is pleased to announce it has won the contract to build all the plugs, tooling and mouldings for the new Dale Sailing 28 ft Motor Boat.
CML’s master boat builders will put together plugs produced on their new 3 axis CNC machine. The mix of modern computer aided parts and the skill of CML’s master builders is guaranteed to produce beautifully made mouldings with all the benefits of computer accuracy.
“We’re incredibly excited to be working on this new 28ft build. The boats that Dale produces are known for exceptionally high quality and attention to detail. Our intention is to help them achieve and hopefully surpass the already high standards in place with our tooling and mouldings. We have invested into a new CNC machine and invested into new cutting edge manufacturing techniques which have raised the bar on the quality and service we offer here at CML.” Says Warwick Buckley of CML.
“After much research and deliberation, we are pleased to announce that we have awarded Composite Manufacturing and Design Ltd (CML) the contract to build all the plugs and tooling for the new Dale 28. We’re looking forward to working with them and know CML will be able to comfortably deliver the quality we’re looking for.” Says Matthew Barker of Dale Sailing.
CML was formed in 2004 after the demise of Blondecell Ltd which was founded in 1979 and carried many accolades for high profile projects. Mr. Buckley worked as Technical Manager for Blondecell Ltd and formed the new company with original members of staff who still work there today. The company operates from a 30,000 sq ft site in Marchwood, Southampton. With a 3tonne overhead crane and a number of heavy plant machinery they comfortably build vessels up to 70ft both to self certification or appointed body.
