Buckley Yacht Designed B45 “Kia Kaha” comes out of the water for annual maintenance before the summer season.
And with the weather looking fantastic this weekend she couldn’t have gone back in the water quicker!
This years overhaul includes new Hyde Sails GPL carbon fibre sail package, Nautix A4 T-speed race antifoul system, upgraded carbon/stainless steel steering system, decks re-painted, re-varnish on the hull and a touch of teak in the cockpit… she is now ready for her first race – Round the Island 2017. With some minor changes to the crew, watch this space to see if she can outperform last years 16th place on line honours.
Kia Kaha was designed by Buckley Yacht Design and built by Composite Mouldings Group. Now in her 5th year her performance has been tweaked to fit in with the owners desire to have a comfortable family cruiser that can easily be switched up for racing.
