The RTC-22 is a New design released in 2014 for which Composite Mouldings developed the prototype to start the production for the vessels.
Aiding in stream lining production methods in order to maximize on production efficiency.
Composite Mouldings can also produce custom turnkey components for superyachts as has been done for various projects.
For MY Shemara CML worked in collaboration with Buckley Yacht Design to produce the Cowls Funnel and the Splash pool as components ready to fit onto the vessel. The splash pool being created with an inner and outer pool with all piping custom made to fit inside to create an infinity pool effect.
The same was done for the cowl vents which were located either side of the Funnel which was designed to house the vessels electrical switch board as well as emergency generator and radars. Special care and testing was undertaken to ensure the signal of the radar was not impeded.
This 16m Pilot boat is designed by Camarc Ltd, and provides fast and efficient running at transfer speeds, combined with excellent sea-keeping.
Built under the same strict quality control measures as the 15M Police boat, CML have been able to offer the client a high quality product that is built to weight and on time.
Composite Mouldings build all the GRP fibreglass mouldings for the 15M HMS, Camarc Ltd designed, patrol boat for the UK Ministry of Defence, in partnership with Holyhead Marine. The project is built to a very tough weight restriction under Lloyd’s supervision.
To date the mouldings combined have been coming in within 1% of Camarc's target weight. CML built all the plugs, moulds and mouldings for this craft.
The fully operational 14.6 metre scaled Container Vessel (of a 365 metre ship) has been the first major turn key project where CML carried out all aspects of the build from customer brief to delivery of a working model.
With their in house design department CML could carry out all aspects of the re-scaling, systems and structural engineering for the vessel.
It was a busy start to the year for Composite Manufacturing and Design Ltd (CML) as they built the Deck moulding for Oyster’s flagship model the 118, a 37 metre luxury sailing yacht encompassing all of Oysters signature design features. CML built the deck and hull mainly of a Vinylester cored E-Glass construction with a carbon fibre structure. Although the hull, deck and bimini are hand laid, the floors and integral elements are resin infused.
CML completed the project in 5 months with a core team of 10. The vessel was built under DNV-GL approval. CML utilised all its capabilities with parts being infused and CNC machined at Marchwood and delivered to Daedalus.
Composite Mouldings also build the highly reputable Hawk 20 for Reid Marine. There are two versions of this 20 foot boat. A flush-deck day-sailor for short day trips, and the Cuddy version, which has 2 bunk beds. Currently there has been over 350 of these boats produced in total.
Both boats share the same hull mould but utilise different deck moulds. They also build the fiberglass mouldings for the Starfish and Foxer dinghies.
