Marine Projects

CML build the 15m Amgram designed patrol boat for the UK Ministry of Defence in partnership with Holyhead Marine. The project is built to a very tough weight restriction under Lloyd’s supervision. With the boats coming in within 1% of the target weight.

CML also build the Hawk 20 for Reid Marine. There are two versions of this 20 foot boat. A flush-deck day-sailor for short day trips, and the Cuddy version, which has 2 bunk beds.
Currently there have been over 350 of these boats produced in total. Both boats share the same hull mould but utilise different deck moulds

XSMG Worlds XSR48’s (pictured to the bottom right) first composite fit out is now being carried out at CML. As the boat reaches speeds of up to 100mph, weight is critical. CML Epoxy infuse the interior and employ different techniques to maximise strength whilst still keeping the boat light enough to hit it's target speed.

CML also build Avon Inflatables Military and Commercial Ribs and are Avons only Lloyds Register Assessed builder.

Previous Marine projects include:

Twenty three narrow beam wheel houses produced for British Waterways.
The Bladerunner 35 RIB for Icemarine
Three P28 RIB's for Patriot Boats
The Lochin 33 and Hannah Louise Flybridge for Lochin Marine International
Lightweight Interior and Exterior mouldings for the Superyacht sector

All work is Weight controlled and run under an ISO 9001 Quality System.
